The DS-9CU Speaker Tracking Station from AREC is an all-in-one 4K video mixer, switcher, and streaming solution with advanced automatic speaker tracking capabilities. Designed for demanding environments such as council chambers, courtrooms, auditoriums, and large conference rooms, it can control up to nine PTZ cameras and fully automate video production based on active microphones.

By integrating with leading third-party conference microphone systems (including Bosch, Shure, Televic, Audio-Technica, BXB and others), the DS-9CU automatically detects the active speaker and triggers the corresponding PTZ camera via RS-232 or IP protocols (VISCA, ONVIF, NDI|HX). Smooth camera switching, adjustable holding time, and transition delay ensure professional results without the need for a dedicated operator.

More than just a tracking controller, the DS-9CU is a complete production station. It combines video mixing, dynamic layout generation, custom overlays, speaker name and title insertion, and built-in IP streaming. Multiple simultaneous outputs are available, including mixed program output, single speaker view, GUI monitoring output, and HDMI loop-through. Running on an embedded Linux system, the unit requires no licenses or complex programming, making deployment straightforward for AV integrators.

The DS-9CU supports up to nine simultaneous video sources (HDMI, USB, or IP streams) and offers 4K input/output capabilities along with streaming via RTMP, RTSP, RTP, NDI|HX, and SRT. It is a powerful and flexible solution for fully automated conference and meeting environments.
